Robert Lyons has been in photography for over 25 years. He lives and works in Portland. He has thought extensively in the USA and Europe including Emily Carr College of Art & Design, International Centre of Photography, University of Washington, Photographic Centre Northwest, and the Ostkreuzscheule in Berlin, Germany.
The photos he takes look very colourful and patterned, he brings a sense of brightness to the photographs and a good sense of contrast with bright colours and dark colours from all sorts of objects.
In this photo, he uses the time of the day to create colourful photos where the sun hits people and objects cast shadows. It also brings brightness to the sun and sky.
